How to Send Files

To begin adding files, click Add

Once you find the file your wish to add, import it into the Qoodaa Fairy: There are several ways to do this in Qoodaa Fairy.

1. Left-click File then Add
2. Double-click the desired file
3. Drag-and-drop the desired file

Added files may be deleted in two ways:
1.   Click the file and then click -->
2.   Drag-and-drop the file back on the left side.

To upload the file click Send.  The file should automatically begin uploading.  If it doesn’t automatically begin uploading, you can start uploading by selecting the file from the list and clicking Start.

Encryption.  In order to encrypt a file, click the box next to Encrypt.  The password can be any alpha-numeric combination and may be underlined.

How to Receive Files

1.Click on the URL you received.  It will automatically begin downloading in the Qoodaa Fairy.  If this doesn’t connect, copy the URL and click Receive in the Qoodaa Fairy.  Paste the URL in box and click Receive (enter/ download/ start/ begin/ add)

2.The steps are illustrated below:

Locate the received file. In the Qoodaa Fairy, click Downloaded and select the desired file by clicking it once. Then click Catalogue. The target will open in a new window.

**Note: To view the default storage path, click Option, then click Transfers
Question 1： Is there any format restriction on file transfers ?
Answer： There is not any format restriction.

Question 2：How long will the files uploaded be kept?
Answer： We will hold your files on our servers for one month for free. If you want to keep after one month, it will be charged at $0.3/G.

Question 3： Can more than two recipients receive files at the same time?
Answer：Yes, they can receive at the same time.

Question 4： Is Qoodaa free or charged? How much?
Answer： Now Qoodaa is not free, and every new users can upload 100M files for free, if it exceeds 100M, it will be charged at $3/G. It's free of charge for users to download files temporarily.

Question 5： Can different versions of the client sofware send and receive files to each other?
Answer： The newer client can receive the files sent by older clients, but the old clients can't receive the files sent by newer clients. If you haven't upgraded, pls download the latest Qoodaa client, and receive files after installation. The address to download the latest Qoodaa client: http://www.qoodaa.com

Question 6： Can the software upgrade?
Answer： it can upgrade on line.

Question 7： How about the security of transfering files by this software ?
Answer： The question you mentioned is concerned by many customers. you can encrypt to protect your files when sending.

Question 8： Is there any restriction on password?
Answer： There is no other restriction except the maximum input.

Question 9：Does it need to input the same task description and password when reuploading?
Answer： Reuploading is the same as uploading at the first time, you can setup the same task description and password and also you can setup different one.

Question 10： What kind of enviroment can we use Qoodaa?
Answer： Make sure your computer is Qoodaa-friendly.It needs to have:
1.Windows 2000 Windows XP or higher edition;
2.256MB or more of RAM;
3.At least 5MB of free disk space ;
4.A broadband connection to the Internet.
